Casa Maria Tacos & Tequila: Authentic Mexican Flavors in Amesbury

Everything is fresh and just delicious. We love their smothered fajita burritos..it's that red sauce! I could drown happy in it. The fried ice cream is also a must try. Simple yet done well. Every time we go, it seems to get better and better.

Had a nice meal here, staff were friendly and drinks were good. Really liked the carne asada. We'll be back!

Finally have a great authentic Mexican restaurant in Amesbury! The food is on point, drinks spectacular and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Yes…like any restaurant that just opened, they’re working thru staffing and timing, but they’ve done an amazing job through an incredibly busy first week. Congrats Casa Maria family…and welcome to Amesbury!!

This is our fave Mexican spot. As a big family who can never agree on a place this is one we all agree on. Birria tacos are perfection! Consome some of the best I’ve ever had! And the toddler LOVES the black beans chips and chicken. And I can’t forget about the great staff! They are truly great!

First time visiting with a relative. More authentic Mexican food than TexMex. Relatively large serving sizes at reasonable prices. Friendly staff. It’s a medium to large restaurant & bar. There’s paid street parking or you walk a few blocks away up the street where there’s a small parking lot to park. It’s missing aqua fresca which is difficult to find in any Mexican or TexMex place in New England.

Came here with my Aunt for lunch earlier in the week, very delicious and I know at least I will be returning. The salsa is very good here and taste’s very fresh, I wish it was spicier but regardless it was good.I had the enchiladas and those were very good. I will give it to this place though, normally I hate rice and beans when I go out for Mexican food, not sure what they’re doing here but it was very good. I gave a four for service just because it appeared there was only one waiter at the time and he had to manage the bar and all of the tables by himself. I think he did I good job either way but I think they should have had another person either at the bar or helping him wait tables.

Great Mexican restaurant where we enjoyed everything we had. The salsa was delicious. I had a chile relleño with guacamole and even though the chile itself was small and rather flat, I really enjoyed the meal. The sauce on the flautas and the tilapia with mushrooms were also reportedly delectable. We'd love to visit again.
